Faculty of Science and Technology , Assumption University , was formally established in 1990 with an emphasis on Computer Science and Information Technology. It was accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of University Affairs in 1993. The faculty itself is progressing, many technology related fields have been initiated.
Faculty of Science and Technology exists for the main purpose of serving the nation by providing a high quality research oriented departments that have study programs in various science and technology fields from bachelor to master's degree, and also being a driving force behind science and technology development in Thailand.
To this end it aims at forming intellectually competent graduates who are
practical and responsible persons with scientific and humanistic mind.

Establishing research groups and supporting facilities to encourage basic and applied researches.
Supporting faculty member development programs in both educational and technical areas.

Actively organizing professional services for public such as conferences, seminars, training courses, applied research projects and
articles publishing on different media.
Supporting the establishment of strong S&T student committee and other student organizations.
Interacting closely with students in their extra-curricula activities.
Maintaining strong family-like relationships among faculty members, staff and students.
Supporting the establishment and the activities of S&T Alumni Association (AUSTA).
Encouraging interactive learning and teaching to make students be able to think innovatively and creatively.
Encouraging students to get involved in different activities which have contributions to the society.
The Faculty of Science & Technology is determined to produce:
